COVID-19 Policies & Procedures

We are OPEN! Five Elements is now offering all services (hair, nails, waxing, facials, and massage) with enhanced safety protocols in place. Please read the guidelines below before your visit to ensure a relaxing and safe getaway. We look forward to seeing you soon!

BEFORE YOU COME: At this time, we can not allow any additional guests in the building. Please do not bring any extra people to your appointment. Due to guidelines from our governor, we can only accept out of state clients from counties with fewer than 400 active COVID-19 cases. If you have been sick, or traveled out of state recently to a county with an active COVID-19 outbreak we do ask that you reschedule your appointment for a later date. We are also asking that all our guests bring their own masks.
WHEN YOU ENTER: Please go directly to the front desk to check in. We will confirm your appointment and phone number in case we need to contact you per government guidelines. We will also ask you if you have been sick our out of the state recently. Before seeing your service provider, we will ask you to either hand sanitize at the front desk or wash your hands in our restroom. Beverage services are not currently being offered, so we do ask that you please bring your own beverage.
WHERE TO WAIT: After you are checked in you may take a seat in one of our indoor or outdoor waiting areas, or directly to your service providers station.
HOW TO CHECK OUT: Check out will be done at the front desk as usual. We can still only accept gratuity in the form of cash or personal check to your service provider.

STAFF PROCEDURES:
Our staff are wearing masks, and we ask that our clients do the same. We do have sneeze guards installed at the front desk and manicure stations as well. Hand sanitizing stations are set up throughout the salon, and clients are asked to use them when they enter the building. We are adhering to the CDC’s guidelines of 6 feet apart social distancing. All our staff are washing their hands or hand sanitizing frequently, and especially before each new client. We have three socially distant waiting areas set up in the salon, one of which is outside. We are also disinfecting surfaces touched by clients every time that client leaves an area. Product purchasing is touch less right now, which means the front desk staff will be the ones to gather and disinfect the products you wish to purchase and put them in a bag for you to take home.
